North Carolina – Electrical Licensing
North Carolina – Electrical Contractors Continuing Education Courses
North Carolina Limited, Intermediate and Unlimited Licenses require a total of 8 hours of Continuing Education every year. North Carolina requires that a minimum of 50% of hours be in person. 4 hours may be taken online and a minimum of 4 hours of in-classroom instruction is required. Contracting Classes offers you the option of taking either 4 or 8 hours of classroom instruction.
These courses, when offered during fiscal year 2022 meet the requirements of the North Carolina State Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors for 4 or 8 contact hours of continuing education credit. These courses are not sponsored by the Board.
Course Information:
- Courses provide the option of 4 or 8 hours of continuing education.
- Check-in begins at 7:30 AM and classes start PROMPTLY at 8:00 AM and end at 4:30 pm. One hour is allowed for lunch.

- $150.00 per person for 8 hours of instruction.
- $80.00 per person for 4 hours of instruction.
ANYONE REGISTERING AND ATTENDING ANY 8 HOUR IN-PERSON CLASS WILL RECEIVE A 4 HOUR ONLINE CLASS FOR FREE.
